We believe golf to be a connecting point for people of all backgrounds and abilities. The PGA of America REACH Foundation is proud to conduct over 14 special events each year to help raise awareness, support and share the incredible stories of impact behind our programming.
From engaging major events like the PGA Championship and Ryder Cup to connecting with our Section partners and PGA of America Golf Professionals — PGA REACH events showcase how golf is leading the way in communities across the country.
Ahead of the 2026 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship, we hosted local youth from the surrounding West Palm Beach community to partake in Youth Day – a fun-filled day designed to engage and inspire new golfers to see opportunities for themselves in the game while learning the basic fundamentals of golf.
As the week of the 108th PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club unfolded, our PGA WORKS Fellows pulled back the curtain to see what all goes in to making a major championship come to life. With it, came a unique view to career paths and opportunities in the game and the industry.
For PGA HOPE Ambassadors Charlie Wilcox and Tamari Watkins, they got to step inside the ropes on golf’s grandest global stage at Bethpage Black during the 2025 Ryder Cup. As standard bearers, the two reflect on what the game and PGA HOPE has given them, and how they hope to share this love with others.

For the tenth year, we are welcoming a team to run the race of a lifetime in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon while raising support and awareness for PGA REACH.

Our annual end-of-year campaign, HOPE 4 Heroes is a nationwide effort to support a mission unlike any other – to change and save Veterans’ and Active Duty Service Members’ lives through the power of golf.
