PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week
October 8 - 13, 2025
Congressional Country Club
A Week Unlike Any Other
Every year in October, PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week invites twenty PGA HOPE graduates who have been nominated by their home Section to an immersive five-day event that includes golf instruction from PGA of America Golf Professionals and wellness training from the Cohen Veterans Network — covering topics from social media, public speaking, stress management, mental health and more. Hosted by Congressional Country Club in Washington, D.C., the Veterans are equipped with a toolkit so they can return to their home PGA Sections as PGA HOPE Ambassadors to work with other Veterans in their communities and foster the game of golf.

“Empowering”
My journey in PGA HOPE has been empowering since attending PGA HOPE National Golf and Wellness Week. The benefits of golf and finding a community has inspired me to continue this journey alongside others in the military community. To do so at the local and national levels as a PGA HOPE Ambassador is an honor and a privilege.

“Gratitude”
That week made me feel like a superstar. I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude to all the people who had come before me. Before PGA HOPE, I guess I didn’t realize that I could open up and allow myself to engage with others who didn’t necessarily share the same background. As a PGA HOPE Ambassador, I’m now able to share that journey with others.

“Inspired”
Attending PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week was awesome. The impact of the week and insight that was received just made me want to tell the world about this program. I believe every Veteran deserves PGA HOPE, and I’m continuously inspired to find the next Veteran who needs this program, getting them out of the house and trying something new.
