A total of 26 representatives will race for the PGA of America REACH Foundation at the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 1. The team includes 24 PGA of America Golf Professionals alongside a PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) Ambassador and a former PGA WORKS Fellow and Scholar.
Among the nearly 60,000 runners will be members of the PGA of America REACH Foundation team, including nine returning PGA of America Golf Professionals. In the Foundation’s 10-year history with the marathon, 64 PGA Professionals have participated, collectively covering more than 1,900 miles across New York City’s five boroughs.
For the 10th consecutive year, the PGA of America REACH Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the PGA of America, has been an Official Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon— one of the largest marathons in the world. Since 2016, PGA of America Golf Professional runners have raised more than $630,000 through the marathon. This year, their collective goal is to raise $150,000.
The PGA of America REACH Foundation aims to serve youth, Veterans and Active Duty Military, and underrepresented communities through the game of golf. The 26 runners will raise awareness and donations to support pillars within the Foundation: PGA Jr. League Scholarships, PGA HOPE and PGA WORKS.
“It’s inspiring to see 26 PGA of America Members and representatives of our Association supporting the PGA of America REACH Foundation in the TCS New York City Marathon,” said PGA of America Acting President Nathan Charnes, PGA. “Reaching our 10th consecutive year as an Official Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon is a milestone that speaks to the passion and heart of our PGA Professionals. Their efforts will open doors for young golfers, support our nation’s Veterans and foster greater access across our sport. We couldn’t be more proud to stand behind them.”

New York Road Runners is a mission-driven nonprofit that builds healthier lives and stronger communities through the transformative power of running. To support other nonprofits’ missions and services, New York Road Runners’ Official Charity Partner Program gives organizations the opportunity to raise funds by offering guaranteed entry to the TCS New York City Marathon for athletes who fundraise on their behalf. Since its inception in 2006, athletes in New York Road Runners’ Official Charity Partner Program have raised more than $680 million for 1,000+ worthy causes. This year, New York Road Runners is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the five-boro marathon course and setting a goal of raising $100 million for its Official Charity Partner Program, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
“New York Road Runners is honored to welcome the PGA of America REACH Foundation team to the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon as they raise vital funds to benefit lives through the game of golf,” said Christine Burke, Chief Commercial Officer, New York Road Runners. “As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the five‑borough course, this year’s TCS New York City Marathon and our expanded Official Charity Partner Program underscore the extraordinary impact running can have in bringing people together and driving meaningful change.”
