PGA Jr. League is a fun, social, and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 17 & under, to enjoy the game of golf. Like other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends. Our Nebraska PGA Professionals captain teams in a popular two-person scramble format which reinforces the team concept and creates a nurturing environment for learning the game of golf. More than 350 juniors across the Nebraska PGA Section participate in this entry point to the game.
Golf-N-Schools
The Golf-N-Schools program uses Starting New At Golf (SNAG) equipment to introduce golf to students. SNAG has a curriculum that meets national physical education standards with golf equipment that is safe and developmentally appropriate. With PGA Professionals training PE teachers, and our Foundation providing the equipment, we can make golf a key component of our elementary and middle school curriculum. There are currently over 125 Schools in the Nebraska Section PGA that participate.
